The second part of Avatar is named The Way of Water was released on December 6, 2022, in London and on 16 December in the United States. Jake Sully is a disabled ex-Marine who has been recruited to participate in a program that allows humans to remotely control genetically engineered alien bodies known as “Avatars” painted blue color. Jake falls in love with Neytiri while working with Na’vi and begins to question his loyalty towards the human mission and forcefully tries to remove Na’vi from their home through the human military forces. It is completely based on the visual effects and the environment-based themes talking about the social causes of imperialism and colonialism. It is one of the highest-grossing films of all time and three more parts are under production to release in 2024, 2026, and 2028 respectively.
