Am I a Dominant or Submissive Personality Quiz
Urochordata is marine and sedentary the number of species known is about 2,000. The body is enclosed in a test like a polysaccharide called tunicin. Their color is unrecognized and notochord is present in the tail region larva and disappears in the adult. The alimentary canal is complete and are ciliary feeders. Respiration takes place through numerous Gill slits which open into ectoderm lined cavity, the Atrium. They show open circulation and their heart is neurogenic and their blood flow shows a periodic reversal. They have special corpuscles vanadocytes to extract vanadium from seawater and store it in blood vessels. Sexual reproduction takes place in the budding process. Mostly they are hermaphrodite and their development is indirect, so take this quiz and know more about subphylum Urochordata.
