Wilhelm Carl Grimm was a German novelist and anthropologist who was the younger brother of Jacob Grimm. Wilhelm married Henriette Dorothea Wild, often known as Dortchen, the pharmacist's daughter, in 1825 at the age of 39. He was a robust and healthy lad as a child, but as he grew older, he suffered from a lengthy and severe sickness. Wilhelm loved music and he had a tremendous talent for storytelling.
