China’s Haidou 1 is an unmanned submersible that reported to take the deepest drive in the Mariana Trench. According to the reports, Haidou 1 has set a new record for China to dive at the world’s deepest point under the Pacific Ocean surface. The unmanned submersible also collected samples from the deep sea and took HD images of the geographical environment of the sea. The member's expedition team left on 23rd April and returned to the province on 8th June. During the deep-diving operation, researchers tested for high precision depth detection, machine hand operation, acoustic detection, and positioning along with HD video transmission.
