Quiz: Test Your Knowledge About Protein Synthesis

Questions : 12 | Total Attempts: 15396 | Recent Updated: 13-Jun-2020
Am I a Dominant or Submissive Personality Quiz
The process by which biological cells generate new proteins is called protein synthesis. Protein synthesis occurs in two steps one is Transcription and another one is Translation. Transcription is the process of rewriting genetic message coded in DNA on to the RNA. It occurs during G1 and G2 phases of the cell cycle. Different steps are involved in transcription like the binding of RNA polymerase to DNA, Activation of ribonucleotides, base pairing, chain formation, cleavage, and many more. The translation is the mechanism by which coded language of mRNA changes to the actual polypeptide chain It Occurs on the ribosome. Ther different steps are involved in translation like activation of amino acid, charging of RNA, activation of ribosomes, chain initiation, and many more things. So take this quiz and increase your knowledge about protein synthesis.
