Now, Netflix has renewed Lupin for a third part. The first five parts were released in January 2021 and the rest on June 11, 2021. The story revolves around a professional thief named Assane Diop who is the only son of an immigrant from Senegal who came to France for the better living of his child. The role of Assane Diop has been played by Omar Sy. Assane Diop is on his way to take revenge on the Pellegrini family for the accusations of stealing an expensive diamond necklace charged at his father. Assane has been inspired by a book about a man, a thief named Arsene Lupin which his father gifted him on his birthday. He uses his charisma and mastery of theft and disguises to expose Hubert’s crime. Hubert Pellegrini is no one but an employer or a business tycoon who is very rich and powerful and once worked under Assange’s father named Babakar.
