Am I a Dominant or Submissive Personality Quiz
RNA is a long chain of ribonucleic acid which carries the hereditary information from DNA to the cytoplasm. It is polynucleotide made up of pentose sugar ribose, nitrogen bases as adenine, guanine, cytosine, uracil, and H3PO4. The sequence of Nitrogen bases is complementary to the sequence of the DNA template. The different types of RNA's are ribosomal RNA, transfer RNA and messenger RNA. Ribosomal RNA forms a complex with a protein called ribonucleoprotein. Various types of RNA based on their sedimentation coefficient. Transfer RNA is made up of 75- 95 nucleotides. The triplets of nucleotides present on messenger RNA depends on the size of the message it carries, so it is called heterogeneous nuclear RNA. So take this quiz and increase your knowledge about RNA and its types.
